Safari in South Africa, Amakhala Reserve

This was the first safari experience and it was everthing hoped for and more. Bush Lodge, Amakhala Reserve is 65km outside of Port Elizabeth. Smaller than the larger, more well known, but intimate, beautiful, and fabulous. It was two days of amazing game drives with our knowledgeable guide Miena, who had a special relationship and background with elephants. This was a truly amazing time connecting with the land and people at Bush Lodge that will be treasured forever. Cape Town

Cape Town is an amazing place of spectacular landscapes, stunning beaches, and difficult history. Our beautiful guide and friend Martyne showed us the many sides of life and the places she loves in Cape Town. It was truly an insiders experience of a town that will be on the return list of future travels. So here are some views from high on Table Mountian, below on white sand beaches, far out at windy Cape Point, and up close with some of the famous residents; African Penguins that swam around my legs & Baboons that were not shy.
