Luderitz, Namibia

Desert meets ocean and German influence further south along the coast of Namibia. Here there is a ghost town slowly being reclaimed by the desert; haunting, eerie, and mezmerizing. Granite and sand meet the power of the sea at Diaz Point where a cross makes the landing of the first explorers. This is also home to daily gale force winds, flamingos, seals, and African penguins.
