Safari in South Africa, Amakhala Reserve

This was the first safari experience and it was everthing hoped for and more. Bush Lodge, Amakhala Reserve is 65km outside of Port Elizabeth. Smaller than the larger, more well known, but intimate, beautiful, and fabulous. It was two days of amazing game drives with our knowledgeable guide Miena, who had a special relationship and background with elephants. This was a truly amazing time connecting with the land and people at Bush Lodge that will be treasured forever.
